A: Every Japanese Head Spa is personalised. We use a combination of professional scalp cleansers, shampoos, masks, and serums tailored to your scalp and hair needs, following a consultation at the start of your treatment.
Q: After the Japanese Head Spa, would the hair be styled?
A: We finish with a gentle rough dry (included in the packages) to ensure your comfort, but we do not include a blow-dry or styling service, as our therapists specialise in scalp and beauty treatments rather than hairdressing.
Q: What is a Tranquillity steam ritual?
A: The Tranquillity Steam Ritual is a calming warm steam treatment designed to hydrate the scalp and hair while enhancing relaxation. The gentle mist helps scalp treatments penetrate more effectively, leaving your scalp refreshed and nourished.
Q: What is a 'Scalp Analysis'?
A: A scalp analysis is carried out using a specialist camera that allows us to closely examine your scalp. This helps us understand your scalp's condition and personalise your treatment. We can also show you before and after images so you can see the results of your Head Spa.
Q: What is a Japanese Hydro ritual?
A: The Japanese Hydro Ritual is a relaxing warm water therapy that gently flows over the scalp and hair during your Head Spa treatment. It helps cleanse the scalp, enhance relaxation, and create a truly calming spa experience.
Q: Can I have the Japanese Head Spa while pregnant?
A: Unfortunately, we would not be able to offer the Head Spa if you are pregnant, due to some of the pressure points within the treatment.
Q: Can I have the Head Spa if I've recently dyed my hair?
A: If your hair has been freshly dyed in bright or vivid colours, you will need to have at least minimum 4 washes to be able to carry out your Japanese Head Spa treatment as the colour may bleed during the service.
